TEDxDallasCollege

TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group.

TEDxDallasCollege (formerly TEDxMountainViewCollege) seeks to bring the college and Dallas communities together to celebrate new ideas that spark innovation in our society.

The theme for this event is "forward." This year's speakers will shed light on cross cultural relations, dismantling social injustices, creating inclusive spaces and overcoming adversity and creating opportunities for the marginalized. This year's theme also gives a nod to our host organization's new identity as Dallas College.

This year’s event is virtual, but it will still capture the essence of TEDx! Join us April 22 to hear from our captivating speakers as they share ideas worth spreading. Their biographies are now available and showcase their diverse backgrounds and experiences. Read speakers' biographies

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDallasCollege, where "x" = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDallasCollege event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussions and connections in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
