Literacy Programs
Contact our Adult Literacy Coordinators to volunteer as an ESL or GED instructor
ESL Volunteers -Lead or assist with lessons that encourage improvement in vocabulary, pronunciation, and understanding of the English Language
GED Volunteer -Provide guided instruction for GED subjects and encouragement to those working toward their GED

Children's Program Assistant -Engage children in storytimes and literacy activities

Technology Teacher -Coach people one on one or teach classes that will help people gain confidence using technology

Shelver -Manage inventory by returning materials to their correct shelf location

Inventory Investigator -Search our shelves for requested, missing or damaged materials to improve our collection and service to customers

Gift Evaluator -Assess gifted library materials to determine how it can best benefit the organization

Event and Display Collaborator -Help encourage a love for libraries by making displays or helping with programs and events!

Language Exchange -Create a safe environment for people to practice a new language

Unique Sets/Experience -Share your talents and special skills! Set up a meeting and we'll see if it is a good fit!

Study Buddy -Provide mentor ship and homework help to K-5 students
