Common Book at Eastfield

About the Book

Tornado Season

Courtney Craggett's powerful short story collection explores the lives of foster children, immigrants, teachers and, yes, tornado survivors. The stories in Tornado Season reflect dreams, ambitions, cultural collisions and fantasy.

Use the Common Book to enrich your classes with action and excitement and teach critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, empirical and quantitative skills, and social and personal responsibility.

Are you planning to incorporate the Common Book into an event or activity on campus? If so, please let us know what your plans are and how we can help.
