This is not an official degree plan. See the catalog for official degree requirements. You must receive a GPA of at least 2.50 on all college-level course work. This pathway is ONLY for students who have been accepted into the UNT-Dallas/ECC Emerging Teacher Academy. Once a student has entered the UNT-Dallas/ECC Emerging Teacher Academy, all credits must be earned at UNT-Dallas and El Centro. Students must earn at least 25 percent of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by El Centro College. You will need to apply for the associate’s degree at your college.   • ENGL 1301 – Composition I This is a (010) Core course. Must earn a grade of “C” or higher.
  • HIST 1301 – United States History I This is a (060) Core course.
