Community College Boot Camps in France

Students from around the globe meet in France to discuss environmental challenges and built their sustainability skills. The call for applications is now open. Five programs will be offered in Summer 2024:

• “Some Like it Sustainable” at Université de Montpellier June 2-15, 2024.
• “Sustainable Engineering” at Ecole Supérieure des Technologies Industrielles Avancées (ESTIA) in Bidart from June 10th to June 23rd
• “Go Green” at Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour June 16-29, 2024.
• “Science for a Sustainable Development: from Conservation of Natural Heritage to Future Society” at Université de Lille June 30-July 13, 2024.
• “Beyond the Postcard: Nature, Culture and Sustainability in the French Caribbean” at Université des Antilles July 1-14, 2024

Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Exchange Program

The Critical Languages Scholarship Program provides fully funded language immersion programs for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study languages that are considered critical to U.S. national security and economic competitiveness. The program covers a wide range of languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Russian and many others.

Earn a B.A. in Global Engagement in Japan. First application period is Nov. 1, 2023 to Jan. 31, 2024. Second application period is Feb. 1-April 10, 2024.

Civil Rights Tour 2024

Dallas College faculty will lead an opportunity to walk in the steps of the Civil Rights leaders in Alabama. They will visit museums, memorials and historic sites, from Birmingham to Selma.
