​Eligibility

The Engineering Academy is for first-time, full-time students and continuing students that have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent and are pre-calculus or calculus ready as determined by Dallas College. Students interested in the Texas-Chevron A&M Engineering Academy at Dallas College must first secure admission.  

First-time, full-time students should submit one of the following: ​

First-time and continuing students already enrolled in Dallas College who wish to participate in the Engineering Academy program should submit a prequalification form.  

All Texas A&M engineering courses are taught at El Centro. Math and science courses may be taken at any Dallas College campus. 

Dallas College will provide prequalified students the link to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy application. Students should submit the Texas A&M Engineering Academy application and all supporting credentials to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions by June 30. 

Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission from Texas A&M University to the Engineering Academy at Dallas College and will be advised on how to accept the offer and register for courses. 

Students admitted and enrolled in the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy program are engineering students in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University and Dallas College. Once enrolled, all courses must be completed through Dallas C​ollege and Texas A&M University.
