Potential Projects This Year: Explore the Outdoors- an annual event that is a partnership between our City’s Parks and Recreation Department and the local school district. Held at a park setting that offers students the opportunity to learn in a natural environment which includes a pond, community vegetable garden, butterfly and herb garden, and a wooded area and trail. It is aimed to specifically educate low-income PreK students. Volunteer assistance is needed with delivering educational presentations and overall event organization.
