Potential Projects This Year: Explore the Outdoors: an annual event that is a partnership between our city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the local school​ district. Held at a park setting that offers students the opportunity to learn in a natural environment that includes a pond, community vegetable garden, butterfly and herb garden and a wooded area and trail. It is aimed to specifically educate low-income pre-K students. Volunteer assistance is needed with delivering educational presentations and overall event organization.
