Earn College Credit for Community Service

This article appeared in a February 2017 issue of the student newsletter.

Ready to earn college credit for helping your community? Sign up for Service Learning!

To begin, determine what service opportunity best matches your interests and learning goals. An easy way to do this is by attending a Service Learning Fair. At the fair you’ll meet representatives from many of the service agencies in your area. You can choose to help animals, children, the environment, the elderly or the physically challenged, to name a few.

Dallas Community Colleges will host Service Learning Fairs Jan. 26 – Feb. 9, 2017. Below is the listing of fairs for Spring Semester. To learn more visit the Service Learning Website.
