When it comes to the sport of volleyball, players typically begin building their skills in middle school and high school. Most schools host team tryouts over the summer, so June is a key time to hit the gym and practice.
To focus on fundamentals, North Lake College is hosting 360 Volleyball clinics for girls in grades 7-12 this June. Each skills clinic is limited to 40 athletes and costs $30. These practice sessions are designed for beginner-level girls and will offer training and drills to improve techniques of passing, setting, attacking (at the net), serving and defense.
Volleyball All Skills Clinics will be held in the gymnasium at the North Lake College Central Campus on June 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 6-8 p.m. Prior registration is required. To register, visit
