Students registered for Fall 2020 classes can make appointments to utilize libraries, limited face-to-face tutoring services and select computer labs at all campuses.
Subjects available for face-to-face tutoring at each campus are as follows:
Brookhaven: Advanced math, astronomy, developmental math, government, physics, sociology and writing
Cedar Valley: Advanced math,
computer science , developmental math and writing
Eastfield: College algebra, developmental math, government, history, philosophy, speech and writing
El Centro: Advanced math, Developmental math, government, history, study skills and writing
Mountain View: Advanced math, biology, chemistry, developmental math, Microsoft Office, TSI math and writing
North Lake: Advanced math, biology, chemistry, developmental math and writing
Richland: Accounting, advanced math, biology, chemistry, developmental math and physiology
This list may not represent all available subjects as more may be added during the Fall 2020 semester.
Appointments are available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Sessions will range from one to two hours, depending upon the type of service needed. Walk-ins are not permitted.
Note: Due to social distancing and other constraints related to COVID-19, face-to-face tutoring is currently only being offered for certain subjects and courses. But don’t worry! If face-to-face tutoring is unavailable for the subject you need,
online tutoring is still available.
