My Program of Study
A program of study is a guide to the classes that you will take to earn a specific certificate or degree. Dallas College has Success Coaches (Advisors) who can help you select the program of study that is right for you. Find out more information on the Why You Need a Program of Study page.
Important Notes:
• If you are applying for financial aid or Veterans Affairs benefits, you are required to select a program of study.
• Changing your Program of Study may have Financial Aid implications. Please contact your Success Coach (Advisor) for program of study questions and Financial Aid for funding questions.
Using eConnect, follow the steps below to explore, select, change and print your program of study:
Step 1:
In the address bar of a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox), enter econnect.dcccd.edu.
Step 2:
On eConnect, choose Current Credit Student Menu.
Step 3:
Under Financial Aid, choose My Program of Study.
Step 4:
On the Log In page, enter your Student ID and Password. Then click Submit.
To select/change your program of study:
skip to Step 8.
To view/print your program of study:
skip to Step 11.
Step 5:
On the My Program of Study page, follow these steps to explore which degree or certificate is the best fit for you:
1. Click the option button for Step 1: Explore Program of Study.
2. At the bottom of the page, click the Submit button.
Step 6:
On the Explore Program of Study page, select an active program of study or a program from the list, then click the Submit button.
Step 7:
On the next page, select a catalog year, then click Submit to continue.
Note:
You must be/or have been enrolled in the catalog year you select.
On the Results page, you can use the buttons at the bottom of the page to print your program of study, view another program of study, go to Select Program of Study, return to the Student Menu or Log Out.
Step 8:
On the My Program of Study page, follow these steps to select or change your program of study:
1. Click the option button for Step 2: Select/Change Program of Study.
2. At the bottom of the page, click the Submit button.
Step 9:
On the Select/Change Program of Study page, select your program of study from the drop-down menu, then click the Submit button.
Step 10:
On the Select/Change Program of Study: Location page, select Dallas College for the location, then click the Submit button.
On the Results page, you can use the buttons at the bottom of the page to view/print your program of study, return to the Student Menu or Log Out.
Important Note:
Changing your program of study may have financial aid implications. For that reason, if you change your program of study any time after the start of the semester, your new program of study will not take effect until the start of the next semester. Please contact your Success Coach (Advisor) for program of study questions and Financial Aid for funding questions.
Step 11:
On the My Program of Study page, follow these steps to view and print your program of study:
1. Click the option button for Step 3: View/Print Program of Study.
2. At the bottom of the page, click the Submit button.
Step 12:
On the View/Print Program of Study page, click the Submit button.
Step 13:
On the Results page, click the Print My Report button at the bottom of the page. This action will bring up the print options screen.
