Loosely defined, “study abroad” is any educational experience, usually for credit, that takes place away from a student’s home college and outside of the United States. Opportunities to “study in America” also exist.

Dr. Joe May, chancellor, DCCCD, and Dr. Brijender Singh Panwar, president of PCTC, located in India, sign the Memorandum of Understanding that will serve as a framework as the two schools explore international projects and joint educational programs.

Dallas Chancellor Dr. Joe May met with VAAC President Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh to discuss his vision for furthering globalization and international partnering throughout Dallas College as well as the greater Dallas community.

Hosted by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce and ​Dallas College, the ASEAN delegation also came to the United States to explore the characteristics of effective international regional organizations and to assess global economic issues.
