CTE/STEM Advising

The STEM advisors at our Richland Campus provide academic support and guidance to empower students to achieve educational and career goals and become successful in an ever-growing and changing world.

CTE/STEM academic and career advisors are available to help students in many ways. We connect with advisees via email or phone.

Our campuses are currently closed to the general public at this time. Most classes will be held online through the Spring 2021 semester.

Students are able to make online appointments to meet with advisors, tutoring services and other college departments.

Students We Serve

All Dallas College students transferring to colleges or universities to pursue their bachelor's degrees in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) field.
Students pursuing a technology degree, via an A.A.S. or certificate(s), who are seeking to enter the workforce.

Services We Provide

Degree planning and class selection to prepare students to be successful in the workforce or transfer to four-year colleges/universities
Information and guidance about degree plans and guided pathways
Registration assistance
Help with claiming AP (advanced placement) credit
General information on College Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing
Scholarship information and guidance on application instructions
Guidance and general information on how to apply for graduation
