Phi Theta Kappa Co-President | Student Leader of the Year

Julio plans to transfer to the University of Texas at Arlington and earn a Master of Business Administration. He would like to work at a corporation in administrative level position before opening his own business and being involved in investments and real estate.

"Eastfield has allowed me to truly discover my potential and allow me to explore new and exciting opportunities by growing as a leader, earning scholarships, networking, fellowshipping and volunteering in my community."

"The best part about being in college was meeting new people and having the time to discover who I am as a student and as a leader. By joining the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, I was able to travel to places I've never gone to before and meet amazing people. It allowed me to become more involved at my own campus which I greatly enjoyed."

"As a first-generation college student and immigrant, I knew that the only person who could stop me from being successful was myself. So by having confidence, determination and believing in yourself, you can accomplish success if you put your mind and heart into whatever you wish."

Watch Eastfield's virtual graduation at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13 on the DCCCD YouTube channel or the DCCCD Facebook page
