Dallas College Cedar Valley Campus has been awarded a $2.45 million grant by the U.S. Department of Education's Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) program.
The focus of the grant, referred to as the Pipeline & Pathways (P2) program at Cedar Valley, is to increase the academic success of African American men through increased access to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) programs at Dallas College. Students participating in the Pipeline & Pathways (P2) program receive benefits such as tutoring, mentoring, STEM summer boot camps, financial and life skills coaching and an opportunity to participate in internships/externships.
