What is the Employee Annual Conference?
The 2020 Employee Annual Conference is an event that introduces district employees to new perspectives, enables them to expand their professional network, and generates collaboration to expand student success.
Due to COVID-19 and our duty to make sure we're operating in an environment of safety for our employees, partners, and Dallas County, this will be our institution's first time presenting the employee annual conference in the virtual world and we're excited about this opportunity!
Our virtual event will provide an array of opportunities for your organization to offer engagement opportunities with our attendees via online branding and access to your website. This opportunity also offers you connections to our employees before and after the event.

What activities take place at the event?
During this event, we kick off our annual employee giving campaign as well as provide an opportunity for our administrators, faculty, and staff to participate in various professional development and social activities. This virtual event consists of:
- General Session with a Special Keynote Speaker & Breakout Sessions
- A message from our Chancellor, Board of Trustees, and the Foundation Board
- Recognition of District Awardees
Why we want your support?
We want to invite you to participate this year to help widen our network, provide vital information to our employees and increase our funding support for the "DCCCD Food Pantries", which helps to support our students with food insecurities. We selected the "District Food Pantries" this year because many of our students were unable to have nutritious meals during COVID-19. Your support will help to restock our food pantries shelves because we donated 5.8 tons of food to other community organizations since our locations were closed.
When students are allowed back on locations, we want to make sure the shelves are stocked and continue to provide our other food resource networks for our students to receive food. We want to make sure that none of our students go hungry and with your support, this effort can move forward.
