24 x 18 inches

This still-life study of reflections on transparent and opaque objects is composed with charcoal on gray-toned paper. Recreating surfaces with the full spectrum of values, particularly realistic bright whites and dark blacks, I began with the dark bottle, then moved on to the more reflective objects. Though it required much concentration, I thoroughly enjoyed this piece.
