Martin E. Nicholas was a student in Eastfield's Auto Body Technology program in 2001, and went on to work at Bankston Chevrolet until 2011. He became an adjunct faculty member in Eastfield's Auto Body program in 2012, and then taught full time for Tyler ISD at its new Career and Technical Center (CTC). He has served as a full-time instructor in Eastfield's Auto Body program since 2016.
He holds an associate degree in Auto Body Technology from Eastfield College, earning certificates in Auto Body Painter, Auto Body Metal and Auto Body Shop Management. He also has several certificates in I-Car and owns Big Dog's Garage, a restoration shop.
