Lab Assistant, Cedar Valley College
A former student and graduate of the program in 2015, Rip serves as lab assistant for the Engine Technology program. Rip helps day students work on projects and assists the day instructor in setting up shop, setting out engines so students can learn how to take them apart and locating tools needed for any project. Rip is our “go to” guy for fast-track day classes for Engine Technology. An avid rider himself, his knowledge of motorcycles is vast. He’s able to apply his own life experience to our students’ learning, and students find him to be a valuable resource in their road to a successful education.
When Rip isn’t working at Cedar Valley, he is either riding his motorcycle or is pursuing his other two passions: cosmetology and producing music.
