Dudley Knox, J.D.


After earning a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and a master’s degree from Southern Methodist University, Dudley Knox taught high school government and speech. He earned his law degree from Baylor University School of Law and for several years worked on legal projects for a variety of corporations.

In the late 1970s, he was asked to serve on a committee to help create the DISD’s Law Magnet School of Dallas. He helped launch the new school and served as its dean of instruction from 1978 to 1983 while continuing to work on legal projects.
