Joyce Jones

Adjunct Faculty
El Centro College

A veteran mediator and staff member for Dispute Mediation Service of Dallas County, Joyce Jones also serves as an adjunct faculty member for El Centro College’s Conflict Management program. She earned two associate degrees, in organizational business management and criminal justice, from El Centro College and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in alternative dispute resolution from SMU.

Named 1997 volunteer of the year by Zero Tolerance for Violence, she sits on the board of directors of several national mediation organizations. She also teaches classes on topics such as negotiation and cultural diversity at various universities as well as a student mediation practicum through her office.
