Degrees and Certificates

There are two separate career paths in the Culinary and Pastry Arts program.

Length of time is based on catalog degree plans. Prerequisites may be required, which are not included in this estimate. For most programs, full-time student status is assumed, a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.

Cost is based on tuition rates for program hours for Dallas County residents. Beginning in Fall 2020, the price of most required learning materials (books, software, supplies, etc.) will be included with the price of tuition. Find out about financial aid.

Beginning with Fall 2020 registration, the price of most required learning materials — including textbooks, online publisher content, software and even culinary/pastry tool kits — will be included with the price of tuition. This added benefit does not include uniforms, which must be purchased separately. Dallas College has partnered with Follett to offer learning materials for all courses. Any student may choose to opt out. More information is available on the IncludED website.
