Culinary Arts Instructor/Apprenticeship Coordinator

Culinary Arts instructor and apprenticeship coordinator Jim Knifong holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Houston and an associate degree in occupational studies in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America. 

He has professional experience in quick-service dining, casual dining, fine dining, hotels, restaurants, country clubs, banquets and catering, including 12 years at the Anatole, the busiest convention hotel in the Southwest. He is a certified executive chef, a member of the Texas Chefs Association and the American Culinary Federation and is an avid home brewer.
