Frances Warrick

Retention Specialist, ADN and VN programs
El Centro College

Frances Warrick holds a master’s degree in health service administration from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She has served as a retention specialist in El Centro’s Associate Degree Nursing and Vocational Nursing programs since 2011. She was previously a VN and Health Occupations core curriculum program coordinator at El Centro.

Previous experience includes serving as a PRN staff nurse in pediatrics, medical/surgery and telemetry at Supplemental Health Care of Dallas; nursing supervisor at RHD Memorial Medical Center of Dallas; and staff RN and nursing supervisor and administrators at several medical facilities. She was also an Associate Degree Nursing instructor at Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas.

She has served as a National League for Nursing (NLN) Accrediting Commission program evaluator; has developed several online versions of nursing course materials; developed curriculum and directed the self study for El Centro’s initial accreditation of its Vocational Nursing program by the NLN; and participated in the NLN Accrediting Commission continuing accreditation self-study, which resulted in a full eight-year re-accreditation.
