Deborah Trammell, M.S.N., RN

Debi Trammell has taught since 1990 as a faculty member in the El Centro and Brookhaven Nursing programs in both classroom and clinical settings. She has taught medical-surgical, obstetrics and pediatric clinicals at Parkland Hospital, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Scottish Rite Hospital, Garland Community Hospital, Dedmon Hospital and Medical City of Dallas. She also serves as a clinical examiner at Plano Medical Center.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in medical-surgical nursing and minoring in education. She has completed several hours of post-graduate studies at North Texas State University.

Professional experience includes serving as a prenatal and childbirth instructor at Medical City-Dallas; as assistant head nurse on the medical-surgical orthopedic unit of Medical City-Dallas; and as a staff nurse at Baylor University Medical Center and Phoenix General Hospital in Phoenix.
