EMT-Basic Faculty

Paul has more than 31 years of experience as a certified paramedic in Texas, with eight years of 911 response experience and three years as a 911 administrator. 

He has been a full-time EMS educator for more than 17 years, which has allowed him to stay current on the latest education standards and methods of instruction. He is a certified ITLS, ACLS, BLS, and PEPP Instructor. He also serves as a National Registry testing site coordinator. In 2014, he was awarded UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Outstanding Educator Award.
