Patricia Burnett, M.B.A., M.S., C.M.A.

Patricia Burnett joined DCCCD in 2009 as a faculty member and tutor.  She holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Chicago, where she graduated with honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  She also holds M.B.A and M.S. degrees in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she was a member of the Accounting Honor Society. 

As a Certified Management Accountant, she served as an instructor of the CMA review course.  She also worked at Ernst & Young as a staff accountant, as a tax consultant at Management Insights Co. (now Equifax Workforce Solutions), and at Deloitte. She has taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Texas at Dallas and continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member at Collin College. 

Ms. Burnett is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges, and serves as the El Centro budget committee representative for the DCCCD Faculty Association.
