A registered architect (RA) since 1982, William Underwood has taught in El Centro’s Interior Design program since 2000. He holds an associate degree in general studies from Amarillo College as well as a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a thesis candidate for a master’s degree in architecture at UTA.
He has been in the design business working for architects for more than 40 years, having been hired at the age of 16 to draw for an architectural firm. He taught architecture at Amarillo College for 11 years and has owned his own firm, William Underwood, Architect, since 1982, offering services to clients in Dallas and Amarillo. He is a member of the Design Communications Association (DCA).
