Dr. Scott Trent holds a doctorate in emerging media and communication from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Trent is a metal sculptor, academic, author, community activist, consultant and founder/director of the Henderson Art Project.

Dr. Trent has taught a variety of classes including art appreciation, art welding and design thinking. He has been a metal sculptor for the past 16 years and served as the first artist in residence for the city of Frisco. His work is displayed on permanent placement at The Dallas Holocaust Museum, the Jewish Community Center of Dallas, the city of Frisco and many private placements throughout the United States.
