Adjunct Faculty

Clint Thomas is a diverse energy management leader with experience in both the demand and supply sides of electric power. His career encompasses more than 20 years of professional experience, including engineering in the energy management industry and in finance as an investment advisor in the energy sector.

He currently serves as an energy engineer in the physical plant of UT-Southwestern Medical Center, where he is responsible for energy audits for an 11.2 million square foot campus with more than 70 buildings. He previously served as an investment advisor to a private client group in the energy sector with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Dallas; as an energy consultant and business development manager with Custom Energy, LLC, of Dallas; and in several engineering positions for American Electric Power Corp. of Dallas.

Mr. Thomas is a Certified Energy Manager and an Engineer in Training. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University.
