Program Coordinator and Faculty

Brad Bosher is an architect who taught construction technology and computer drafting and design at ITT Technical Institute before becoming program coordinator of Construction Management at North Lake College. He holds a Master’s of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia School of Architecture in Charlottesville, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. He holds an architectural license in Texas and is a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C.

Professional experience includes working for Brand-Sayers Architects, a D/FW area firm specializing in telecommunications facilities and financial institutional design, for 12 years; and six years for HKS, Inc., a privately held architectural firm with offices in 24 locations in the U.S. and internationally.

“The challenge and excitement of teaching is to find a common ground with the students, creating an atmosphere of mutual responsibility, enthusiasm and cooperation aimed at the common goal of understanding,” he says. “The most exciting aspect of teaching for me is finding that element of presentation that sparks the interest of the class and helps them comprehend the concepts being presented. It is extremely gratifying for me to see that moment in a student's eyes when this understanding occurs: the 'light bulb’ moment.”
