Russell “Rusty” Dale began teaching at Eastfield College in 2016. He holds two associate degrees from Eastfield, in Computers/Electronics and Electronics/Telecommunications. He served as a lab assistant during his time as a student.

After graduating from Eastfield, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a back shop avionics technician. He then joined Halliburton Energy Services as a maintenance professional, or electronics/mechanical/computer technician, working in Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming, and overseas in Vietnam, Angola, Tanzania and Thailand.

He serves as lead Mechatronics instructor for the Early College High School program with H. Grady Spruce High School. This program allows students to graduate with an associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing/Mechatronics Technology from Eastfield at the same time they graduate from high school.
