Dr. Adriana Badulescu has more than 18 years of experience in software development/programming and research and development in the United States and Europe. She has held a variety of professional titles, including software engineer, programmer, analyst programmer, web developer and research scientist, at Lymba Corporation, Language Computer Corporation, the University of Texas at Dallas and KEPLER. 

Her teaching experience of more than 10 years includes both the U.S., at Richland College and Collin College, and Romania, at the University of Bucharest and AISTEDA University. She taught both undergraduate and graduate-level classes in computer science and business. Dr. Badulescu joined Richland College's faculty in August 2009 and has taught a variety of programming classes, including C++ and Java, Introduction to Computing, and Business Computer Applications. 

She holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas and bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Her research interests include natural language processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational linguistics, text generation and computer gaming. Her work has been published in more than 20 technical publications, including three journal papers.
