Steven Michael Walters is an actor, writer, director, producer and filmmaker from Dallas. He is a member of the resident acting company at Dallas Theater Center, as well as co-founder, co-artistic director and resident playwright at Second Thought Theatre in Dallas.

As an actor, Steven is perhaps best known for his role as guidance counselor Glenn Reed on NBC’s Friday Night Lights. In his role as screenwriter, his short films have played at SXSW, AFI Dallas, DIFF, Damah Film Festival, SAIC, Attic Film Festival and Park City Film Music Festival, among others.  

His first feature film, The Bounceback, directed by Bryan Poyser, premiered at the 2013 SXSW Film Festival and had its international debut at the British Film Institute Film Festival in London that year. Steven also appeared in the role of Jon in director Eric Steele’s film Bob Birdnow's Remarkable Tale of Human Survival and Transcendence of Self. Steven teaches scriptwriting.
