Active in technology sales, business development and consulting worldwide for more than 15 years, Chip Izard has served as the program coordinator of the International Business and Trade program at Richland since 2007 and also serves as program coordinator of the college’s business programs. Since 2006, he has also served as vice president of sales and business development for Intulogy, a global training and development company in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
Previous professional experience includes serving as director of business development for Austin-based Salion Inc., where he developed new business for the workflow management software company. He also served as corporate account manager and senior account executive for Pervasive Software, also an Austin-based business producing $7 million in revenue.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in international business from Le Tourneau University in Longview, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in general business from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Certificate of Leadership from UT’s Professional Development Center. He is a charter member and founding board member of the Austin Lakeline Rotary Club and belongs to the Richardson Rotary Club, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and Metroplex Technology Business Council. He serves on the boards of the Signboard Commission of the City of Richardson and the international advisory council to the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. He also co-chairs the education committee for the North Texas District Export Council.
