Coordinator and Faculty, Management CareersEl Centro College
Lea Davis serves as coordinator of the Management Careers program at El Centro College, which includes the Business Administration and Management associate degrees, as well as several Business and Management certificates.
Lea holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science degree from Abilene Christian University at Dallas. She taught as an adjunct faculty member for 17 years while employed with the city of Dallas and has served as a full-time professor of Business and Management studies since 2007. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, holding positions of authority at the executive level. She has also owned several small businesses in the Dallas area, has served as a business consultant and currently provides management consultation services to businesses and individuals.
She has worked extensively with the Business, Public Service and Information Technology Division to offer a section of all management courses online and provide for an entrepreneur track for those interested in becoming business owners. She also serves as the faculty advisor for two student Management clubs at El Centro, the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
