Academic and Transfer Courses and Degrees

Want to earn a four-year degree? Get a head start on required courses with the colleges of DCCCD, then transfer to a university. You can take a few classes with us or complete a two-year degree. Either way, you'll save money! Thanks to our affordable tuition, you can finish college for less.

Academic and Transfer Degrees

Earning an associate degree can help you work toward a bachelor’s degree in a range of subjects. Our general, two-year degrees include:

The main difference between the A.A. and the A.S. degrees is the course requirements. However, both will translate into the first two years of a bachelor’s degree (your freshman and sophomore years).

Getting More Specific

If you already know what type of bachelor’s degree you want to pursue, you can choose an associate degree that transfers to a specific major. For example, if music is your passion, an Associate of Arts Degree With a Field of Study in Music could be the perfect starting point for you.
