MaryAnn McGuirk, M.A.

MaryAnn McGuirk began teaching HDEV courses in 2001 as an adjunct instructor and in 2006 was hired as a full-time faculty member and coordinator for the program at North Lake College. She previously worked as transfer coordinator and academic advisor for five years at North Lake.

Additional professional experience includes serving as a program director for nontraditional students at Goucher College in Baltimore, serving eight years as director of Career Services for DeVry University in New Jersey, and serving two years as transfer admissions counselor at Kean University in Union, N.J.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pa., and a master’s degree in counseling and student personnel services from Kean University in Union, N.J.
