Tuesday S. Hambric, Ph.D.

Tuesday Hambric came to North Lake College in 2006 as a full-time faculty member and ombudsperson. She teaches Developmental Psychology and Human Development courses, as well as serving on numerous North Lake and district committees.

She holds a doctorate in general psychology with emphasis in educational psychology from Capella University; a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas; a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tarleton State University-Central Texas (now called Texas A&M University-Central Texas) in Killeen; and an associate degree from Central Texas College in Killeen.

She has been included in Who’s Who Among College Professors in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 editions and was named Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.

She was a Round Table member at Oxford University in 2007, received Phi Theta Kappa teacher certification in 2006, in 2004 was certified in rational emotive behavioral therapy by the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City, and in 2000 received certification in state-mandated mediation training.
