Monroe Mayes Jr., M.S.

Adjunct HDEV Faculty

Monroe Mayes began teaching at Mountain View College in 1987 and at Cedar Valley College in 2008. He has also taught human relations and psychology at DeVry Institute for four years and served as a student counselor at Advantage Academy in Dallas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in human relations and business from Amber University in Garland. Mr. Mayes was recognized as Man of the Year by the Dallas City-Wide Brotherhood in 2004 and received the President’s Service Award from President Bill Clinton in 1997.
