Video Technology at North Lake

The Video Technology program at North Lake offers a two-year curriculum of intensive study in television production, broadcast engineering, scriptwriting, video post-production, computer graphics, multi-track audio and lighting for television. We train people for the broadcast, corporate, institutional and entrepreneurial sector in a host of specialties.

Developing Skills for Success

The Video Technology program's courses are conducted in a hands-on setting that will prepare you for your future career. Labs and equipment include the most current technology similar to what you'll find in the workplace.

Our all-digital studio facility includes a four-camera digital television studio, 27-inch iMac computers for editing and production, high-definition field production cameras and six editing suites for audio production, video post-production and graphics work.

Located in the heart of Irving and Las Colinas, North Lake is close to a number of companies in the video and film industry with numerous internship and job opportunities. Students participate in single-camera and live multi-camera studio and remote productions and individual and group productions, and they learn both in the classroom and through on-the-job training.
