Physics at Richland

The Physics program at Richland provides students the knowledge necessary to understand and appreciate the applications of physics to their everyday lives and prepares them for scientific, technical and medical careers.

Physics is about matter and energy and how they interact. The principles of physics can be applied to subatomic particles or galaxies. A strong foundation in physics is essential for all engineering careers, and it also has wide applications in other areas, such as nuclear safety, sports medicine, computer science, oceanography, chemistry, seismology and astronomy.
