Physics

Physics, the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy, encompasses the study of the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles. It explores motion, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism and the structure of atoms. This area also includes Astronomy courses.

Physics courses are for both science and non-science majors and are listed under the four-letter rubric (course prefix) PHYS.
