Sandra Alexander is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in the Dallas area since 1985. She became the director of the Medical Assisting program at El Centro in the fall of 2009.
Employed in the medical field since 1965, she most recently worked as a certified medical assistant (CMA) for Arco Oil and Gas Co. and as a CMA supervisor with the Dallas Diagnostic Association. She served as adjunct faculty for Richland’s allied health professions from 1999-2009.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s in public administration (MPH) with an emphasis in health care administration from Grand Canyon University. Sandra is also credentialed as a CMA through the American Association of Medical Assistants.
