I was born and raised right here in the great state of Texas and I currently reside in Mesquite. I’m a country girl at heart, and I am blessed to have my immediate and extended family within 60 miles as family is very important to me, with the exception of my youngest daughter along with her husband and my only granddaughter residing in Chicago.
I received my Associate in Applied Arts and Science here at El Centro and my medical assisting certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). In addition, I have many years of experience working within the fields of internal medicine and cardiology, and I have taught health professional courses as adjunct faculty for El Centro for the past nine years.
I enjoy teaching and find it immensely rewarding and a challenging profession. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, church activities, baking, reading and a special place in my heart serving the elderly.
