Dr. Diane Minger

Dr. Diane Minger has been teaching campus-based and online courses in business, management and marketing at the associate, bachelor's and master's degree levels for more than 30 years. Dr. Minger has extensive experience in online curriculum development, including competency-based instruction and development of courses with open educational resources, saving her students thousands of dollars in the completion of their degrees and certificates. She is a master course reviewer for Quality Matters.

Dr. Minger holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana State University and received her master's and doctoral degrees from Texas Woman's University. She has also completed postdoctoral work in law and human resources at the University of Texas. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2016 Bellwether nomination for Workforce Training, 2014-2015 Innovation of the Year Award, 2014 Excellence in Teaching Award, 2005-2006 Cedar Valley Piper Professor Award and the NISOD Teaching Excellence Award in 1999, 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Dr. Minger serves as the co-chair of the Cedar Valley ​Enrollment Management Committee and she co-chaired the college's QEP selection and development team. She also serves as an on-site Reaffirmation Committee team member for SACSCOC. Dr. Minger has made numerous presentations to industry and educational colleagues across the country.

Prior to teaching, she worked in retailing and the fashion design industry. Dr. Minger is also a small-business owner, specializing in marketing consulting and website design, and sits on the board of Sekure Koncepts Inc.
