Bill Hammerschlag, Ph.D. has been a full-time faculty member since 1986. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He was a senior systems designer specializing in industrial microcomputer development at United Technologies prior to joining Brookhaven’s faculty. His primary fields are programming courses, fundamentals courses and online development.
