Clemente Course in the Humanities

The Clemente Course in the Humanities is a two-semester course in the humanities for adults who do not have college degrees and who face significant financial barriers. It is a partnership between El Centro and the Foundation for Community Empowerment Free Minds Program. The course is taught by accomplished professors from the region and is easily transferrable to most major colleges and universities. As a Clemente student, the cost of your tuition and books will be covered by a scholarship, and you will be supported by an extensive network of services, including free child care.

To be eligible for this program, you cannot be enrolled in any other college courses. Classes begin in September, and two class times and locations are available.
