Geology

Geologists study some of society's most important problems: energy, water, and mineral resources; the environment; climate change; and natural hazards like landslides, volcanoes, earthquakes and floods. Various courses at Dallas College are offered for both science and non-science majors, and may include earth sciences, physical and historical geology, environmental science, oceanography and meteorology.

Geology courses are listed under the four-letter rubric (course prefix) GEOL.
